Solutionsurfers in Romania
Solutionsurfers is an international network of consultants, coaches and trainers all committed to bringing Solution Focus to organisations, businesses and individuals. We started formally in Romania at the beginning of 2013 though we’ve been working with Solution Focus in different ways for many years.
In November 2013 our first group graduated from the 12-day PURE program in Bucharest. Since then, we held a training every year and we are proud of our generations of alumni! You can find out more about their experiences here.
Since then we have run open trainings in Bucharest and Timisoara, and customized coaching training programs in many organisations. Since 2020 we organize our ICF accredited coaching trainings in an online and an offline track.
Solutionsurfers Romania offers a full range of individual coaching, online and offline training programs, tailored development programs introducing coaching in organisations.
Our Team
She is the founder of Solution Surfers in Romania. Originally from Germany (Köln) she has been living in Romania since 1995. Petra has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and Management Development.
Today she works as an Executive Coach (PCC), Team Coach and Business Consultant in various European countries. After several years in an international company, she continued her career as an independent consultant and supported the development of her clients with various projects building up her reputation as one of the leading Coaches and Systemic Business Consultants in Romania.
Her clients appreciate her rich professional experience combined with a fresh, creative approach which encourages them to think out of the box and to develop surprising solutions. As a member of the Solutionsurfers faculty she runs the PURE Brief Coaching Training and PLUS program in Romania.
Ian Peatey is a consultant and trainer with SolutionSurfers Romania. Originally from the UK he has been living in Romania since 2009 having lived in Poland for 15 years before that. Ian has over 20 years working in Management and Personal Development including as head of Training for PwC in Poland.
Ian runs the Brief Coaching PURE program in Romania together with Petra and brings Solution Focus training, coaching and consulting to business in a variety of tailor made projects.
He is known for his calm and insightful approach, together with a quality for deep listening. He is also a Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication.
She trained as a solution focussed coach with us in 2015 and since the beginning of 2017 she has decided to make this a core area of her work. She has been involved in delivering the PURE Training along with Petra Müller-Demary since 2018.
More recently she trained with Oxford Mindfulness Center and she added mindfulness to the tools that she works with. She also brings over 18 years of experience in communication, marketing, consulting and training, acquired in multinationals, international and third sector organisations in Romania and abroad.
She is a strong believer in freedom and making the best of the opportunities that life offers. This is what guides her to support clients in their quest for solutions and a full life they can really enjoy.
